Who We Are

An operating charity built on lived experience.

Legacy Impact Foundation is a national 501(c)(3) public charity built on a simple conviction: redemption works, and it can be proven.
An operating charity built on lived experience.
Our Mission

Turning second chances into lasting change.

Led by credible messengers who have lived the journey from incarceration to restoration, we walk into prisons to prepare people for transformation, document real change through proven coaching, elevate authentic stories of redemption to reshape how America sees second chances, and connect returning citizens to the work, family, and community that make restoration complete.

We are an operating public charity — not a private family foundation. We raise charitable support and put it directly to work: transformational coaching inside and outside prison walls, scholarships for coaches and participants in the Core Four + HOPE Coaching platform, and support for the local organizations essential to every successful homecoming.

Core Values

Nine promises about how we operate.

These values guide every partnership, program, public statement, funding decision, and person we choose to support — and they are standards our board, donors, and participants can hold us to.

Human Dignity

Every person possesses inherent worth and the capacity for transformation. We speak to potential, never to a case number.

Redemption

No one should be permanently defined by the worst decision of their life. We build pathways that let demonstrated change count.

Accountability

Redemption requires honesty, responsibility, personal growth, and demonstrated change. We ask it because we lived it.

Lived Experience as Expertise

The people closest to the system help shape the solutions. Credible messengers lead our engagement and program design.

Proximity

We stay directly connected to incarcerated people, returning citizens, families, and frontline professionals — inside facilities, not at a distance.

Restoration

A second chance succeeds when it leads to restored families, meaningful work, stable housing, and community contribution.

Integrity

We will never compromise our mission or credibility for access, attention, funding, or political advantage.

Collaboration Over Credit

Lasting change requires organizations working together rather than competing for recognition.

Evidence & Results

Programs are measured by actual impact, not intentions or visibility. What we cannot measure honestly, we do not claim.
